Mackay’s growing reputation as a premier cricket destination will again be on show when Harrup Park hosts four days of representative action from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August 2026. Bringing together emerging talent, elite senior players and experienced competitors from across Australia and New Zealand, the carnival highlights the strength of cricket pathways at every level of the game.

With competition across the NEXT XI U23s, Elite Seniors, Legends and Masters divisions, the event provides players with the opportunity to compete in a high-quality representative environment while showcasing the depth of talent within regional and franchise cricket. Set against the backdrop of one of Queensland’s leading sporting precincts, the Mackay tournament promises a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the field.

Age Groups

NEXT XI U23s: Players born on or after 1 May 2004.
Elite Seniors: Players born before 1st May 2004. Best available senior men’s players.
Legends: Either players born before 1 August 1986 or played less than two A grade premier cricket matches in the current and previous season.
Masters: Players born before 1 August 1981
