The Brisbane Seniors Tournament is set to showcase the next generation of cricket talent, bringing together the region’s best emerging players for four days of elite competition from Thursday 6 to Sunday 9 August 2026 at Northern Suburbs DCC, Wavell Heights.
Featuring the Brisbane Seniors Tournament division alongside Elite Men's, Legends, Masters and Female Seniors competitions, the tournament provides a premier pathway and representative opportunity for rising cricketers looking to test themselves against the best.
Franchises including the Dingoes, Magic, Marlins and Wolves will battle it out in the Next XI competition, with player nominations now officially open ahead of the draft on Saturday 13 June 2026.
With high-level cricket, professional environments and strong pathways on offer, the Brisbane Tournament promises to be one of the standout events on the 2026 cricket calendar.
Age Groups
Elite Mens: Best available senior men’s players.
Next XI: Players born on or after 1 May 2004.
Legends: Either players born before 1 August 1986 or played less than two A grade premier
cricket matches in the current and previous season (no nominations required)*
Masters: Players born before 1 August 1981 (no nominations required)*
Females: Best available female senior players (no nominations required)*
*There is no draft for these age groups as franchises will select off market - however your name
will be added to a central database for their review.
